This afternoon, daddy brought out the computer and put on some tunes. Mr. B quite enjoyed just chilling in our arms and listening to the music - and it calmed down the rest of the babies in the room too. Even the caregivers were bopping to Bon Jovi (yes, after a little G&R, Jeremy actually put on some of my music)! Daddy says tommorrow we will have to try some Ozzy...
All is well, though every day I am getting more anxious to move on from the orphanage - but it could be along wait yet, as our court date has been scheduled for July 22nd - another 12 sleeps until then!
Okay, this may sound a little rude, but I have to say - can that baby make some gas! I feel rumbles in his bottom - even get a good whif - but it's only gas! Except for once, I haven't seen a dirty diaper - he must be leaving it for the caregivers - but man can he give gas! It's actually quite hilarious, as sometimes it's two or three good ones in a row - but no dirty diaper! I think I'm more shocked about that than anything!

ReplyDeleteTake lots of pictures of the other children at the babyhouse, that was my one regret 1st time around as I am still getting emails from people (4 years later!!), saying I found out you were at Nezabudka in June 2006 do you happen to have a picture of my son/daughter from before we met him/her. I have been lucky to pass on pictures to people and I was also very lucky to get pictures of Ciera 4 months prior to her and I meeting!!!

Yes we found that with Darya as well --- not too many dirty diapers at the beginning (sometimes we'd find before giving her lunch) - but as soon as we brought her to the apartment - it was 4-5 poops a day! I think they don't give them veggies at the orphanage for a reason! hee hee
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the teeth either - they will come in ... Darya only had her 2 bottom teeth at that age and now she's got 8 with 2 more coming in--- she's still behind in teeth -but they catch up with all the calcium and good food they'll get later...
